Domaine Chapuis is based on 170 years of family tradition at the foot of the Corton hill in Burgundy.
Claire and her brother Pierre represent the 6th generation. They combine tradition and modernity in the search for the expression of the 8 appellations of the domain spread over 11 hectares.
1850
Purchase of the first vineyard plot of one hectare by Pierre Pavelot and of 0.60 hectares of Charlemagne with his brother.
1890
Antoine Chapuis, married to Pierre Pavelot's daughter, takes over the business
1915
Their fils Maurice kept the business going and invested in the classification of appellations in Burgundy.

Contribution of Louis Chapuis to the design of the first straddle carriers

The domaine
11 HECTARES OF VINEYARDS IN THE CÔTE DE BEAUNE
The Domaine produces white and red wines with village appellations such as Aloxe-Corton, Savigny and Chorey les Beaune.
And Premier Cru with the Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru, Grands Crus with the Corton Perrières, Corton Languettes and of course the Corton Charlemagne.
